 If you’re following my blog, you will notice that I have been in a couple of restaurants up north and in the Metro. But there is a different kind of high when it is your hometown, you’re exploring.

Last weekend, I was fortunate to be invited by the owners of Champions Sports Bar and Restaurant (Big Shout out to Louise of for organizing the meet-up).

I, together with co-blogger friends who are also Cavite-based, met at the famous fast-food chain located in Pala Pala. Then at around 11 in the morning, we transferred to a different branch (but of the same fast-food chain), this time in Gen. Trias, closer to where we will be having lunch.

After a few minutes, we were all fetched by Ms Bernie, the gorgeous wife / co-owner of Champions and we all arrived at the restaurant, just in time for lunch.

The owners, business and real-life partners, Sir Earle Woolley and Ms Bernie, welcomed us and we had a quick tour of the whole place. But allow me to share first my experience when we dined in their restaurant.
The place has an open space layout, huge and comfy chairs, flat-screen TVs on all corners so you can watch your favorite sports program while eating, and restaurant boasts with sports-inspired memorabilia. They have authentic collector’s items from different sports legends and the most popular among them here in the Philippines is PacMan:
Boxing gloves of Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao

They also have a place where they hold Jazz nights during Thursdays and Fridays, Accoustic Nights, and live bands perform during Saturdays and Sundays.

Note: If you want to have a quick tour of the place, please check out my FB Live video here.

As for the food, the chefs, headed by Chef Ynan Del Rosario, prepared an enticing menu for us, bloggers.
Did I mentioned that they have a cool way of placing an order? Customers were being handed tablets, which they can use to order their food (by adding their desired dish to their cart) and while waiting for their meal to be served, they can even use the said tablets to browse through net. Awesome, right?

On the table:
Salad – Caesar salad with Grilled Chicken
Appetizer – Chili Beef Nachos
Soup – Cream of Wild Mushroom Soup
Main Dish 1 – Angus Beef Tenderloin with mashed potato, grilled veggies and red wine sauce
Main Dish 2 – Baby Back Ribs
Main Dish 3 – Norwegian Salmon with cabbage, glazed asparagus, and beurre rouge sauce
Dessert 1 –  Champions’ Classic Tiramisu
Dessert 2 – Mango Crepe with vanilla ice cream and toffee caramel sauce
Dessert 3 – Blueberry CheeseCake
Dessert 4 – Panna Cotta

Champions Cavite not only offers great food, but also unique concept and excellent recreational areas. They currently have (which is my favourite)2  KTV rooms! For only 2,000 php, you will get to enjoy the following:

* Buffalo Wings
* Chili Cheese Beef Nachos
* Hawaiian Pizza
* 15 Bottles of Beer Light or Pale
* An hour of fun and laughter while singing your heart out!

Note: after the first hour, room charge is 500php per hour.

Other things to watch out for (still under construction/renovation):

* Overnight Accommodation
* Pool with Pool Bar
* Fitness Hub (though it is operational, we were unable to visit the place, which is located just above the restaurant)

Note: I will update you once I get back to the place.

Who wouldn’t love this place?! This is a one-stop haven for those who want to just chill and have a relaxing day or two, without having to shell out a fortune.
