Hello Kitty Birthday Party Ideas

Who doesn't love Hello Kitty? Kids, teens and even young at heart could be mesmerized by the cuteness, only hello kitty can bring :)

In my case, I became fond of the famous cat when Miel, my daughter, came into my life. Why? Because she looks like HK :)
You be the judge! Hehe! This photo was taken during her 1st birthday last 2013 in The Creamery Kids Universe MOA. Sad to say, they decided to close down the physical store and focused on catering offsite events instead.

At that time, I don't want to have just one theme (which is Hello Kitty) so I've decided to put more colors to the party. Since Creamery had this "hawaiian" thingy, "Hello Kitty goes Hawaiian" became the theme of Miel's 1st birthday party :)

Creamery handled almost every detail of the party - decorations, food, venue, invites, loot bags, prizes and banner. But the cake and cupcakes were made by Sweet Creations by Mum and photobooth by zecky's (both were not included in the package with Creamery).

When it comes to my daughter's outfit, I've just bought a 2pc hello kitty bathing suit (in pink&purple), flower headband in SM and purple shoes from Spoiled store.

After a very stressful but fun event, we then checked in Microtel Wyndam hotel in MOA and spent the night there.
Look how refreshed my daughter was? :) this photo was taken on the rooftop of the said hotel.

Another great Hello Kitty themed party I did for my daughter was "Hello Kitty goes Italian".

Well, it's not an actual party, with many guests - friends & relatives, but rather an intimate one (only us with grandparents on both sides, and our sibs).

To achieve the "italian" vibe, hubby and I decided to have lunch in Amici Taguig. We ordered pizzas and pastas then cake from caramia.
Why Amici Taguig? Because it's an italian resto and it's in Venice Piazza (replica of the famous clock tower in Italy).
Aside from the food and ambiance, venice piazza also has small playground for toddlers and bird feeding in the afternoon. (I even fooled most of my friends in fb. They thought we're actually outside of the country and surprised when I told them that that place is only in Taguig).
Going back: Since Hello Kitty is still part of theme, Hubby and I bought this hot pink + stripe HK dress (HK dollshoes, gift from a family friend) in SM department store. HK letters from Handicrafts Atbp.

We had the second level of the restaurant all to ourselves so we placed Miel on one of the vacant tables and did some photo op :)

Honestly, I can't wait for her to turn 3 (4, 5, 6 and so on) because I have a lot of Hello Kitty themes in mind :)

How about you? What Hello Kitty theme do you like best? :)
