Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo City

As part of the package, when we dined in the new home of Laya last Feb 11, 2011, we were given a pass to enter the Pinto Art Museum located at the heart of the Silangan Gardens.
Although I'm not a total fan of paintings and art works [because when I was younger, galleries and museums give me a creep, for some odd reason] I totally appreciate the beauty of the place and the different types of canvas and paintings that they displayed in the gallery [as well as the molded pieces of art that looks real scattered all over the garden's sprawling terrain.

Upon entering the gate, at the left side is where Dr. Joven Cuanang's weekend home lies. Although the house itself is off limits, you can still explore the surrounding pool and garden :)

Then when you walk further, you will see the swimming pool I mentioned earlier, where, according to one of the resident artists, is the place Judy Ann Santos shoot the pulpy juice commercial.

TRIVIUM: From the same source, this is also where Julius Babao and TinTIn Bersola-Babao held their wedding reception. Nice :)

According to the resident artist I had chit-chatted with [who doesn't want to be named and camera shy], the garden itself is already a work of art. The landscapes and lush greens are well planned and placed. He also mentioned that before, there's just the house and small chapel. But now, they also came up with the gallery where the artists' most priced art possessions are housed.

When you explore it further, you will be amazed of how magnificent the place turned out to be. Let me take you to quick tour:

And here are some of the art works that you will see placed strategically in the garden. [let me share you the ones I like]:
"TAKE YOUR TIME" by Artist Arellano
"NARCISSUS" by Artist Alonday

Then at the door of the gallery, you will see a letter [credit] from the owner himself, Dr. Joven Cuanang.

When inside the gallery, here are the paintings that will welcome you [I didn't take down notes and I don't have the capability of memorizing each and every artists of the said paintings...pardon the lack of preparation]
