WoW Phils Series: Baguio

To celebrate our first year anniversary, we headed off to the Summer Capital of the Philippines: BAGUIO!
DAY 1: Here's our picture while inside Victory Liner: 620php per way per person approximately 4-5hours travel time

We stayed in Hotel Veniz located in the heart of Baguio [kilometer 0) One Abanao St., Baguio City 2600 Phils.
Here's what our room looked like:

Standard Room: 1595php / night

Our first stop is Veniz Grill. Since we  were sooo hungry, we only took a picture of our drinks and when the food were served, our desire to capture every detail of our trip, especially the food, vanished... Our hungry tummies won :)

DAY 2: We bought a map of Baguio when we're still in Manila and noted all of the places that we wanted to see. Fist stop was Mines View Park:
This is said to be the most visited park in Baguio. With its fantastic panoramic view of... no other than Baguio's copper and gold mines :)

My first time to ride a horse
After the ride, we went to SM Baguio to eat :) what makes SM Baguio different compared to other SMs? It does not have any air condition units! duh?! :)

"Sometimes I run, sometimes I hide, Sometimes I'm scared of you..."
Feels like Britney in Sometimes Music Video :)

Nest Stop: Burnham Park. This is famous for having a man made lagoon good for paddle boating.

Now let's go to Wright Park!! :) **Here in Baguio, it's easier and cheaper to ride a taxi :)

Look how tall those trees are :)

Last stop today: The Mansion

DAY 3: We started the day by visiting the Baguio Botanical Garden, the east of Baguio's downtown area. It's about the same size as Burnham Park.

Then we made a side trip to La Trinidad [about an hour's drive] for strawberry picking :)

Sadly... there are no strawberries :( the best time to do this is around February... So we just settled on buying strawberry goodies. Lesson learned. Consult Mr. Google first...
On our Last Day in Baguio, we attended the 5:45AM church worship in Baguio Locale :)
